Thai stocks opened down 0.07% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,575.68 points, down 1.04 points from Tuesday’s close. The trade value was 1.38 billion baht, with 216.98 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 998.60 points, down 1.80 points, or 0.18%, with a total trade value of 769.65 million baht. The MAI index went up 2.57 points or 0.43% to stand at 594.90 points, with total transaction value of 175.94 million baht.
